Fizzy’s Taqueria is a twilight sanctuary where warmth, flavor, and joy weave together in a vibrant, semi-outdoor space. By day, sunlight dapples through paper lanterns and red, green, and white patio umbrellas, each rimmed with tiny golden bells that sing softly in the breeze. By night, the space glows beneath moonlight and star lanterns, casting gentle light over brightly painted wooden tables and chairs—no two alike. Some are carved with playful sugar skulls, others inlaid with constellations of turquoise and obsidian. The tiled pathways beneath your feet are crafted from broken ceramic fragments, humming faintly with ancestral resonance.

Soft rancheras and huapangos loop in the air, live-strummed through subtle speakers and drifting easily into conversation. Wind chimes shaped like maracas and copper suns sway above, adding gentle rhythm. From the kitchen, Fitzgerald—known fondly as Fizzy—laughs often while tending his smoky open-flame grill, where the rising smoke curls into dancing women, cactus blossoms, and dragons before scattering into sparkles. Nearby, his Molé Cauldron bubbles continuously, stirred only by El Palito de Poder, his enchanted ladle. Tortillas press themselves on floating prep orbs, rotating lazily like miniature planets until perfectly toasted.

A pair of softly glowing Alebrije Guardians stand at the entrance, ensuring only kind intentions cross the threshold. Guests may help themselves to drinks at the Beverage Fountain Tree, where horchata, hibiscus, and starfruit agua fresca drip gently from carved bark-spouts into clay cups. String lights shaped like chili peppers, stars, and crescent moons stretch above the space, casting a warm and welcoming glow. A chalkboard wall—The Wall of Cravings—invites guests to draw their dream dishes in glowing ink. Once a month, Fitzgerald selects one and brings it to life.

Guests may choose from cozy standard tables for shared meals, solo bar stools encircling the grill for an up-close flame show, or the beloved Hammock Lounge tucked in the back garden, where full bellies can sway beneath the stars.

  • Starfire Carne Asada Tacos – Flame-grilled steak marinated in citrus, garlic, and meteor salt. Topped with glowing lime crema and a sprinkle of midnight ash pepper.

  • Lunar Chorizo & Potato Tacos – Spiced chorizo and golden potatoes, wrapped in handmade moon-flour tortillas. Best eaten under moonlight.
  • Spark Tacos (Kids’ Special) – Soft-shell tacos filled with cosmic cheese, smiley beans, and glitter guac. Comes with an edible sticker.
